Kevin is a dedicated physiotherapist with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba. Before transitioning to physiotherapy, he earned his Master of Counselling in 2013 and worked as a professional counselor, where he honed essential skills that continue to enrich his approach to physiotherapy. His counseling background taught him the importance of truly listening to clients, a skill he considers vital to effective and empathetic care.
Kevin’s journey into the world of sports began with his passion for skateboarding, a pursuit he enjoyed for nearly 20 years, traveling throughout Canada, California, and Costa Rica on various skate trips. As he grew older, his interests shifted to endurance sports, specifically triathlon, where he embraced the challenges of swimming, cycling, and running. Through these athletic experiences, Kevin gained firsthand insight into the rigors of training and the frustration of unexpected injuries. These encounters sparked his appreciation for physiotherapy and the transformative power of exercise-based rehabilitation.
As a physiotherapist, Kevin is committed to lifelong learning and continually seeks to refine his skills and knowledge. He believes in a patient-centered approach, tailoring each treatment plan to meet individual needs and helping clients build confidence in managing their own health. Kevin’s goal is to empower patients with the tools and knowledge to take control of their wellness, fostering a collaborative path toward recovery and resilience.
